Minimizing Regret: The One Thing You Need To Do

No matter who you are or what you do, you’re always going to have regrets in life.  And God, do they sting! It is only wise then to minimize them instead of instead of total annihilation.

And how do you minimize regrets?

By taking chances.

By doing the things you want to do, not the things you are expected to do.

By being brave enough to stay true to yourself.

‘Cos at the end of the day? You have to deal with the person staring back at you in the mirror.

  1. I definitely needed to hear these words today. It’s a refreshing message to hear from time to time when you’re feeling down. Thank you, Mahevash :) ?

  2. Hey! Hope you’re doing well.
I’d like to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award.
Please check it out, if you’re interested! Thank you.:)

    1. Thank you so much for the nomination! I am truly flattered! Unfortunately, I don’t do awards. Thanks once again :)

  3. Well thats true, as they say “It’s LIFE” and ” LIFE FOR SURE IS NEVER FAIR”
We have a fight with life on daily basis, just to survive.
In all this REGRET is not a thing to give attention to,
Because it is a quick sand, the more you think about it, the more it will keep pulling you inside it.
So its always better to come outside it.
    Its a must!!! TO SURVIVE.

  4. Of course sometimes trying to do the things you want to do doesn’t always pan out either.

I moved to Vancouver to take a course in Film Directing and Screenplay Writing at the Vancouver Film School.

Due to a series of circumstances, that didn’t pan out.

I was evicted from my apartment last week for not having enough money to pay my rent and now I’m living in a homeless shelter.

I’m now typing up my blog posts and my comments at a public library terminal

    1. You are right. There are times things don’t go our way even though we try our best. But isn’t it better to have tried and lost than never to have tried at all?
I am sorry to hear that. However, I personally feel you are more than capable to write a screenplay without enrolling in any school or course.
As for the recent turn of events, I hope things get better soon. I have a few ideas in mind and will be dropping you a mail over the weekend. Take care.
