Like so many of us, I’m not in a good place mentally. The cold weather has made the daily grind even more unbearable. I even found myself writing a suicide note over the weekend…suicide is not the answer. I know.
Before things get worse, I’m taking a few mental health days. And I’m mentioning this because mental health days must be normalized, not scoffed at. They are even more important this year due to the pandemic.

It’s a day when you take a break from paid or unpaid work to manage increased levels of say, anxiety, stress, or depression. We need to take more of these in this dystopian time. Hope you’re well :)
