Screw You, Impostor Syndrome

 screw-you-impostor-syndrome-poem

I don’t really deserve this
It was just dumb luck
And on and on
Why do we make so many excuses
To tell ourselves
We are not worthy enough
That our accolades are mere fate?
When you put in the work
And fail and struggle to get it done
Take the compliment
For what it is:
Your hard work finally paying off

    1. Thanks for the appreciation, Anupama! I hope you face it less often in the future because you are so darn talented!

  1. I face impostor syndrome too. The funny thing is, I think talented or hard-working people face it far more frequently than the ones who are neither talented nor hard-working.
