For years, despite my best efforts, life has not gone my way. It's hard to live in an ableist society that excludes you just because you are not normal.

Today is our 80th Independence Day, but I feel far from free. There's way too much ableism in India for that to happen. I know discrimination against people with disabilities is a global issue, but it's rampant here. Go check out @viralimodi_'s account to get an idea of how bad we have it in all areas of life. Because I don't have the energy to talk about this shit. Besides, what's the point?
